Last updated:

Digital products

All sales final

No voluntary refunds or exchanges for downloads, reports, keyword lists, or other digital purchases.

Services

Non-refundable

No voluntary refunds for research, consulting, audits, or other purchased services.

Physical products

Defective items only

If physical products are offered, report a qualifying defect within 30 days of delivery.

Your legal rights remain protected. These rules describe our voluntary returns policy. Any cancellation, warranty, repair, replacement, price-reduction, or refund right that applicable law requires takes priority over this policy, including its exclusions and deadlines.

1. Purchases covered

This policy applies to purchases made directly from the current operator of CuratedKeywords.com. Review the product or service description, scope, delivery details, file formats, and stated requirements before ordering.

Purchases completed with another seller through an external or affiliate link are governed by that seller’s returns policy. This policy does not cover transactions with a previous operator of this domain.

2. Digital products and services

Digital products

Digital product sales are final and non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. This includes downloadable keyword lists, research reports, spreadsheets, templates, guides, and other digital materials offered for purchase.

We do not offer voluntary refunds or exchanges because you change your mind, no longer need the product, do not use or download it, purchase it by mistake, or prefer a different product. Check any disclosed format or compatibility requirements before purchase.

Research and professional services

Payments for services are non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. This applies to keyword research, SEO research, audits, consulting, custom reports, and other professional services, including scheduled, in-progress, and completed work.

A change in your plans, budget, niche, target market, or business strategy does not create a voluntary refund entitlement. Changes to an agreed brief or requests beyond the purchased scope may require a separate quote. Any revisions expressly included in your purchase remain available under the agreed service terms.

Research provides information and recommendations. Unless a specific written commitment says otherwise, a purchase does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, advertising approval, leads, sales, or revenue. A different commercial outcome from the one you hoped for is not, by itself, a reason for a voluntary refund.

Delivery or quality problems

If a file is inaccessible, damaged, missing, or materially different from its description, or a service does not meet the agreed scope, contact us with your order details. We will review the issue and provide appropriate access, correction, or other remedy required by the purchase agreement or applicable law. The no-refund rule does not exclude remedies for non-delivery, billing errors, or defective digital content where the law requires them.

3. Defective physical products

If we offer physical products, our voluntary refund policy covers defective physical items only. Submit your request within 30 calendar days after delivery, together with proof of purchase and a description of the defect.

A qualifying defect includes a manufacturing fault, a failure under normal intended use caused by a product defect, or damage present when the item arrives. Eligibility may need to be verified through photographs, troubleshooting, or inspection.

We do not accept voluntary returns of non-defective physical items for a change of mind, accidental purchase, preference, or a decision that the item is no longer needed. Our voluntary policy also excludes normal wear, misuse, neglect, unauthorized alterations, and damage caused after delivery by improper handling or use.

Opening or reasonably using an item to discover a defect does not automatically disqualify the claim. Keep the packaging, accessories, and included parts if available, but missing original packaging alone does not remove a valid legal remedy. Do not continue using an item that appears unsafe.

Sale and discounted physical products follow the same defect eligibility rules. Any longer warranty or claim period required by law remains available after our 30-day voluntary claim window.

4. Requesting a return

  1. Use our contact page and begin your message with “Defective product return.”
  2. Include your order number or other proof of purchase, the email address used for the order, the product name, delivery date, and a clear description of the problem.
  3. Keep the item and its packaging while we review the request. If needed, we will explain how to provide photographs, video, or additional information.
  4. Wait for return authorization and the correct return address before shipping. We will confirm whether a physical return is needed and provide the relevant arrangements.

Do not send products to the manufacturer or to an address found elsewhere unless we direct you to do so. Return authorization allows us to review the item; it does not itself confirm refund approval. Contacting us first helps us route your claim and does not remove any mandatory consumer right.

Never send payment-card numbers, account passwords, or other sensitive information with a return request.

5. Return shipping and inspection

For a confirmed qualifying defect, we cover reasonable standard return shipping through a prepaid label or another arrangement confirmed in writing. We do not charge a restocking fee for an approved defective-product return.

Contact us before purchasing postage. Unless we agree otherwise or the law requires it, we do not reimburse optional express services, extra insurance, or shipping costs incurred outside the authorized return arrangements.

Pack the item securely with the included parts and accessories you still have. Use the return method provided and keep any tracking or acceptance receipt. If a shipment is delayed or missing, contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.

We may inspect the returned item to establish the defect and cause. We will notify you of the outcome by email. If we cannot approve the claim under this policy, we will explain the reason and discuss any next steps or costs before arranging further shipment. Applicable legal rights remain unaffected.

6. Approved refunds and replacements

An approved defective-product refund covers the amount actually paid for the affected item, after discounts, plus the associated tax. If the entire physical order is returned because it is defective, we also refund the original standard delivery charge. Optional delivery upgrades are not refunded unless required by law. For a partial-order claim, we will explain how any refundable delivery charge is calculated.

We submit approved refunds to the original payment method within 5 business days of approval, or earlier where required by law. Your bank or payment provider controls when the credit appears. A refund is not redirected to another person’s account, and gift purchases are refunded to the original purchaser’s payment method.

If you prefer a replacement, we may arrange one for a qualifying defective physical item when available and agreed with you. We do not require you to accept store credit in place of an approved refund or a remedy you are legally entitled to receive.

Late or missing refunds

Check the original payment account and any refund confirmation, then contact your bank or payment provider about its processing time. If the credit remains missing 10 business days after our refund confirmation, contact us with your order number so we can help trace it.

7. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Depending on your location and purchase, these can include cancellation rights and remedies for goods, digital content, or services that are faulty, not as described, or not supplied as agreed.

Where a statutory cooling-off period applies, this policy does not remove it. For example, applicable European consumer rules can provide a 14-day withdrawal right for online purchases. Losing that right for digital content supplied immediately requires the legally required express consent and acknowledgment; for a fully performed service, the relevant consent and acknowledgment requirements must also be met. Reading this policy or placing an order alone does not replace those requirements.

Any mandatory remedy, response time, refund deadline, or allocation of return costs required by applicable law takes priority. Use our contact page to raise a concern or exercise a right that applies to your purchase.

8. Contact and policy updates

Questions about an order, delivery, defect, or refund should be submitted through our contact page. Please include your order number and the email address used for your purchase.

We may update this policy for future purchases. The policy and purchase terms in effect when you ordered continue to govern that order, subject to applicable law. We update the date above when the policy changes.
